All About Me

In December 1987, I earned my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders, with an emphasis in Education for the Deaf, followed by my Multiple Subjects Clear Credential from CSU Fresno in December 1988.  Then, in August 1989, I began teaching elementary school in Oakdale, California.  In 2000, I earned my Masters of Arts degree in Teaching from Grand Canyon University.  Since then, I have become Google Educator.  While in Oakdale, I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6, but have been working as an academic coach for the past three years, during which time I earned my Google Educator 1 & 2 and Leading Edge: Digital Educator certifications.
I enjoy scrapbooking, using technology, baking, traveling, and doing genealogical research.  I also like practicing my sign language skills with others who sign.
I live in Oakdale with my husband of 29 years.  We have two daughters, ages 25 & 21,  a son-in-law, who is currently serving our country, in the U.S. Army, a grandson, and a mini dachshund!
